The Panthers (3-1) took sole possession of first place in the USFL Conference after beating the Showboats 27-9. Memphis (0-4) took an early lead, but then went without a score in the second half as Michigan gained control. Bryce Perkins threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 45 yards. Nate McCrary and Toa Taua each scored rushing touchdowns.
