Saya Song passed away on September 4 at her home in Michigan, according to a published obituary.
The 37-year-old Korean-American performer entered the adult industry in 2015, accumulating over 180 scenes before her retirement from professional filming in 2022.
Song’s cause of death remains undisclosed, but a number of friends reported on social media that she had taken her own life. Some were alarmed on the day of her death, Sept. 4, the last post on her X (Twitter) account read: “Nathan called the police on me. So if I die, it will be his fault.” A spokesperson for the Bureau of Forensic Sciences in Song’s home county said the cause of death is “still undetermined” and that it could take several months to get lab results that will establish that.
Song had filmed for major studios, including numerous scenes for Evil Angel.
For the past few years, Song has focused on independent content.
